We wanted to make you aware of a disruption of service event that occurred and impacted some of our customers on March 14, 2019. This event began at approximately 4:00 a.m. (EST) and lasted through mid-morning. After investigating, we distilled the source of the event to a previously unprotected overflow of requests. This threat has since been identified and protections were implemented to prevent a repeat episode. The Rievent team has taken this very seriously and is working on further mitigation strategies for these types of events in an effort to prevent a future disruption of service.
