FAQ: Can I embed a video in a test or survey question?

Yes. Videos can be embedded into any evaluation or test.  Video's can be embedded two ways:

You will need an embed code for the video. YouTube and almost every other video hosting service provides this for videos (YouTube example below).

 

Video embedded into a question:

 

To to embed a video into a question, when creating the question:

  1. Click the Rich Text Editor.



  2. Access the Source Code. 



  3. Paste the embed code in the field (you can change the dimensions by altering the width and height in the embed code).


  4. Be sure to click Save and/or Next at the bottom of the page, then click the finished button on the finished tab (only if the activity has already been created).

  1. Add a Text Block to the test or survey.



  2. Click the Rich Text Editor.


  3. Access the Source Code.
